Ladysmith Black Mambazo – is a South African vocal group founded in 1960 by Joseph Shabalala. It is well known for its “acapella” performances.

The group has been nominated for a total of ten (10) Grammys throughout the years in different categories such as Best Traditional World Music Album and Best Traditional Folk Album. The band won four (4) Grammys is 2014, 2009, 2005 and 1988. And for the 60th edition it has been nominated in two (2) categories: Best World Music AlbumShaka Zulu Revisited 3 and Best Children’s Album for the album Songs of Peace & Love
“Shaka Zulu Revisited:3″ is the remastered version of the album “Shaka Zulu” that won the Grammy back in 1988 for Best Traditional Folk Album. The 2018 edition is also special for the group as it is their first nomination outside of the Best World/Traditional Album categories.
