Nigeria – More Than 60 Dead In Double Attack

The double suicide bombings killed, today Tuesday, May 1, more than 60 people in a mosque and a market in northeastern Nigeria, in a double attack carrying the marks of Boko Haram. Kano, Nigeria – The double suicide bombings killed, today Tuesday, May 1, more than 60 people in a mosque and a market in northeastern Nigeria, in a double attack carrying the marks of Boko Haram. The incident came one day after US President Donald Trump stepped up his support for Islamist militants.

The explosions, allegedly perpetrated by young boys, occurred shortly after 1:00 pm (12:00 pm GMT) in Mubi, about 200 km from the capital of Adamawa State, Yola.

Imam Garki, of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), said that a joint assessment with the police and the Red Cross revealed that 26 people were killed and 56 were wounded, 11 of them seriously.

They were transferred to the Federal Medical Center in Yola for treatment.

Boko Haram
